An Uncomfortable Question

Churches do really big Christmas productions hoping to draw people to church during the holiday season. We do one. It will be this weekend and I encourage you to come.

Lately, however, I have been wondering how effective these big productions are. It seems like a lot of church people come to the big church's Christmas spectacular. I am sure they are blest. But how many people come to know Jesus.

Our own numbers indicate that very few are ever baptized as a result of a production.

If big productions don't reach people for Jesus, are they worth doing? That's an uncomfortable question!

I would love to know what you think: drop me a line at wcsmith@adbc.org
