I appreciate Condy preaching for me Sunday - attendance holds strong over last year - +12%. I think this shows we are buying into Team Teaching… Grateful for that.
Primary event for me this weekend was to see Abram and Hannah at College - attend Duke Basketball game and UNC basketball game. A child at each school means we live basketball and deal with the rivalry all the time!
Also went to their churches - Hannah attends the Summit RDU and Abram is college intern at Chapel Hill Bible Church. Both great churches - reminded me that God uses all kinds of churches to reach all kinds people.
What stood out for me in both churches - strong, intentional focus on first impressions ministry - parking, greeters, etc. Things were done with the idea to make an outsider not feel - well outside.
BUT - missed you all and glad to be back…
