Knowing Jesus is not the
same as knowing Biblical facts. It means
you have a relationship with Him
that leads to spiritual experiences
that change the way you think.
This year, my prayer is
that we as a church will know Jesus
better.
Some of you are
spiritually curious people – I pray you will shift from knowing about Jesus to
having a relationship with Him.
Some of you have a
relationship with Jesus – but you are not living in Hope. That’s because you are not living out your
purpose, the reason God made you. I pray
you find this year.
Some of you have a
relationship with Jesus – but you are not living as an inheritor of spiritual
wealth. You are not looking at the
resources God gave you (your story, your resources, your spiritual gifts) and
learning to share them. This is the year
for you to step up and be generous.
Some of you have a relationship
with Jesus – but you are missing the power of God shaping your life. I pray you will see His power transform you
this year. Let me hear your story; email
your God at work stories to stories@adbc.org.
What will your life be
like on December 31, 2012, if you know Jesus better?
Grace,
Clay
